We rely on Workable for all our hiring needs. It makes job listing creation, editing, and posting a breeze. Plus, it helps us efficiently schedule interviews and gather feedback from our team members involved in the process.
I have no issues with Workable because it's incredibly user-friendly.
Workable has been instrumental in streamlining our hiring process. It addresses the challenge of efficiently managing job listings by providing a user-friendly interface for creating, editing, and posting listings. This has significantly saved us time and effort
Integrations to emai, and effective communication across roles and hiring managers. Everything is summarized in one place and can be managed from one place. Love it!
The new onboarding features are not there yet.
Centralized recruitment - everything in one place. As well as access to job boards to create traction for our roles.
My team has been using workable to evaluate hundreds of candidates. The interface is easy to use, and the collaborative capabilities are endless. I have relied heavily on the two-way emailing capabilities and the evaluation score kits. I have also found it easy to upload files and communicate with both teammates and applicants. I couldn't recommend this software more.
I wish the interview scheduling platform connected with Zoom or other virutal conferencing platforms. It would also be helpful to allow candidates to sign up for interview slots.
I have enjoyed the interview evaluation kit that we made. The kits allowed us to evaluate our candidates more comprehensively.
ability to tailor tools, easy process to move candidates along a pipeline, use of comments, feedback, and tags to notify members of the team, easy to customize for your need
not possible to add more than one location to a job post
Time efficient tool replaces the need for manual work, linked to email accounts and social media and job portal channels so by one click links you to a high number of user
User-friendly, it prompts you with what it needs, the templates for job descriptions/adverts are so helpful, and I use them regularly.
Can be slow sometimes - not allowing for the questions to be changed once candidates have started applying. Doesn't work the best with Indeed - we have to go into our Indeed account separately to manage the job
It keeps everything in one place; the whole team can provide excellent service as we know what is happening. It saves time for hiring managers; they can go on and see interview feedback/cv notes and any other details at all times.
Workable makes it really easy to track which candidates have applied as well as source candidates. I love the template features; it's easy to add in codes that will replace each candidates name and move them to a new cadence.
The only complaint I have is that when you disqualify a candidate sometimes they stay in the same queue so you have to be mindful when you're going through so you don't accidentally reach out to a character you've previously disqualified.
It's helping me recruit for my startup! Without Workable I would be way behind my goal. It's affordable as well so it's not increasing my startup overhead by too much.
It helps with efficiency and helps fast-track the hiring process, especially in a start-up environment. In addition, it is straightforward to use and makes it easy to coordinate with other team members.
One downside is the lack of visual integrations/embed links within templates, signatures, etc.
The amount of time it takes to schedule and keep up with current candidates, how easily integrated it is with Google Suite, and coordinating with team members.
I like its minimalism, it has everything I need and only things I need. It's very easy to understand and requires zero training to be proficient.
I's say search and filtering is the least convenient part of Workable. There is a such feature, but it's not very organic and exists somewhere on the side. For me, it's more convenient to rely on direct links shared to me and open exch candidate in a separate browser tab rather than go to the 'candidates' section and try to filter there
As an interviewer, constantly involved in the hiring process, I value that Workable keeps all relevant information and chats on one page, so I can be sure nothing is missing and I can read it in few minutes
Workable has several integrations that allow ease of use and permits our hiring managers to manage their candidates seamlessly.
I would like to see Workable incorporate a more thorough E-Signature workflow process that allows several process owners to sign off on offers being extended to candidates.
We do not have a dedicated recruiting function, so Workable allows our HR department to best partner with Hiring Managers to fill their open positions collaboratively.
Ability to create your own hiring structure and steps in the process with associated templates – saves a lot of time, minimises mistakes, and helps to keep the process fair and easy to manage.
No ability to "unsend" an email you just sent but might've spotted a typo – having a 30 seconds window would be great!
Simplifying and structuring the hiring process, helping to involve the right people at the right stages of the process.
It's very organized, you have all you need in one view. Great to be able to leave comment and also be able to tag your co-workers.
Would like to have a function where you can "hold" to your decision on iffy candidates
It's helped me hiring a few people and made that process very easy.
Easy to communicate with hiring managers, easy to teach and navigate. I enjoy how user-friendly it is, and that there's a community to reach out to + webinars to make it easy for everyone to have their questions answered.
I would like there to be a talent pool to save good candidates that didn't make it. We currently use an excel sheet and have to go back and forth sometimes, so this would make it much more seamless.
No longer have to use different channels to communicate about candidates. The stages make it very easy to understand the progress and all of the required information is kept in one place.
Ease to post jobs quickly to many job boards
Difficult to manage reqs when changes are made after req is submitted.
More integrations all the time
I like the intuitive nature of Workable and the fast and efficient response from the assigned Account Manager, who provides clear advice in a short time. I worked with other ATSs, and most have inefficient customer service.
Some things cannot be done in Workable, but they seem to improve it continually. I would suggest adding more options for the user profile, like using the first name only or a nickname.
We use it, of course, for recruiting as ATS :). It offers easy traceability of applications, easy-to-use job posting and promoting tools, reporting on the process and users, etc.
I'm a senior engineer, so I'm often called upon to evaluate engineering candidates. I've worked at many companies, big and small, and the process had always been very unstructured; and the evaluation was a meeting where someone took notes and got them to HR. Workable puts so much more information, context, in my hands. I can see the history of the communication with the candidate, as well as their CV, place my notes and recommendation, and see other candidates in the system. I've never used a tool like this, so I have nothing else to compare to, but I have to say, I enjoy using this one!
I have yet to find a downside. So far, this provides everything I need. I imagine it might link to other online resources like hackerrank, but I don't know that it's really necessary.
Having the context of the potential hire. One place to keep all the notes.
I loved how easy it was to share a candidate with a colleague in order to get their feedback.
Bulk emailing candidates could be made a bit more obvious to find.
Workable allows us to screen candidates and collaborate around hiring seamlessly. It saves our team so much time.
Easy to use, customizable, has increased efficiency and collaboration
Not much to dislike so far, support is great and responsive
We have been able to use Workable to get great referrals from our team
How easy and pleasant the interface is, the ability to edit the selection process to add or remove steps and the ability to upload Linkedin profiles directly.
Honestly, there is nothing that I do not like, its functionalities are just what is needed for a selection process, neither more nor less.
Thanks to Workable I can have the entire selection process in one place, leave notes for my fellow recruiters and look at past profiles in selection processes that are already closed.
Very easy to navigate and has all the important information where you need it
When moving to offer stage it becomes a little more tricky.
Addressing the areas where we need to source more candidates for specific roles
The usability is perfect and easy to work; People's search is incredible; The referral helps a lot and is a great feature!!
I would like to have more flexibility to create more workflows by myself, not depending on someone to input the process for me.
The visibility of the workflow to my leaders, they now can follow up how is their position. Also, managing the communications with my candidates is helping me a lot.
