Did what it was supposed to do, and that's about it.
It is impossible to cancel your subscription. I have contacted support and used various of their email addresses. Absolutely no one answers you or assists you in any way, shape, or form. - Only thing it does is create a terrible atmosphere within your team.
None
Having to email their support to cancel my account...I'm joking that was just the last annoying thing I was forced to do with this company. Nothing...I like absolutely nothing about it.
Absolutely terrible piece of software. I cannot for the life of me understand why this software has such high ratings. We used it for about six months and had nothing but problems with it. Some of the issues were: 1. Time not syncing between mobile, desktop, and web clients. 2. Time not accurately being tracked. 3. Unable to archive old project-tasks or projects. 4. Tasks and projects not syncing between mobile, desktop, and web clients. 5. Time is missing. In other words, time would be tracked and then disappear. 6. Employees who worked on sensitive areas like finance had their accounts set to blur screenshots. This never worked. They were completely in the clear which could have been a huge problem if our clients ever found out. This has been a disaster from start to finish. We've had to manually fix tracked-time, re-bill customers, refund customers, and start all over again with an much better alternative called HubStaff--whom I highly recommend. The biggest problem with Time Doctor is that we were working with their "support team" for over a month and supposedly they were working on fixing our problems...This turned out to be a lie. Nothing ever got fixed. The support team would never proactively give us any information regarding what they were working on and we always had to reach out to them for an update; the updates contained no actual progress information of any kind...So in other words: we were being blown off. We are in software development ourselves and this whole platform reeks of something that was built by cheap, overseas, outsourced development teams, OR it was something that has been rushed to market. You need to avoid Time Doctor and Staff.com like the plague. The two companies are linked and perhaps merging because recently Staff.com had a message on their website that said something to the effect of "A TimeDoctor Company." They also have identical logos. Final thoughts: if you use Time Doctor to track work for your clients you are going to be in a world of hurt. You will overcharge and undercharge clients and when they figure it out (like ours did) they will be pissed.
Time tracking for the purpose of billing customers.
I like their tracking system - screenshots and reports
This software is not good for invoicing clients
Adding multiple employees
It helps measure how employees are being productive and it's easier to perform payroll since it tells me how many hours the employee has rendered during a pay period
The desktop app is too plain. Also, on Timedoctor 1, the user is able to add/remove or edit tasks but on the Time Docotr 2 you can no longer do this. Can we revert this feature?
screenshots are limited to the set time provided by your developer. If possible, allow the custom time for screenshot tracking. Same goes with productivity time pop ups
I love the screenshots and how easy it is to start and pause the clock.
If you don't log out of the extension, it starts running as soon as you start doing anything on your computer, even if you're not working yet.
When we do overtime from home, it allows management to make sure we are doing our work properly.
The fact you could not tell it was running on a computer unless you have the knowledge on how to check. But also the customise ability for how often you want screenshots and what task could be set.
People can work it out that there is a program running if they have an IT background making it not as affective when they start to spread word around that there is a system in place.
Time Doctor was always looking to perfect its areas it can improve in even the reports were getting better and better as i was using it and the cutomize fields have made it super easy.
Time Doctor (TD) is probably one of the best tools that I have used and also using it currently to monitor the performance of my team and also gives various measures such as screen recording and the websites visited.
The main thing I personally dislike about the time doctor is that it automatically closes after a certain period of time and there is no issue with that but there should be an option for that the user/organization should itself have control over this period.
the biggest help that TD does is a very efficient time tracking and even in addition it shares reports where we can even see our productive and unproductive time.
I work as an account manager at a full-service digital marketing agency. I am able to track how much time I'm spending idle, how much time I'm spending working in general, and how much time I'm spending on each individual client that I have. This allows us to determine if each client is getting the appropriate amount of time based on their package. We can then adjust accordingly for new clients & our current clients.
I don't like that it's not automatic... It can be difficult to remember to switch between clients. As an account manager I have this issue, but my departmental members (web dev, social media, etc) don't have this issue as much because they spend a lot of time on one singular task and so it's not as difficult to remember for them.
It is solving time efficiency problems & providing answers to profitability questions. For example, our smallest package should not be taking up the majority of my time. Time Doctor shows us whether or not that is happening.
project time calculation. helpfull for future projects
nothing, everything good. thank you very much
I calculated time for each work in project. It is needed for labor cost prediction
I like that you can go through your tasks and complete them one by one with proper time management compared to other task managing apps that you can only do the tasks and you have to get a separate time tracker.
I hate it when it glitches. It stops time tracking while I'm working I wouldn't even notice that it already stopped and then I had to contact our work admin to add manual work time which is a hassle. However, it doesn't really happen too often.
Time Doctor helps me in solving my time management issues. It gives a lot of benefits mainly by allowing me to allocate time properly which would then tell me if I am really productive at work or not.
What I liked the most is that the monitoring is complete! And this helps a lot in control and increases productivity!
I have no criticism to make to the time doctor tool!
The team doctor solved the productivity problem, consequently increasing the number of projects and tasks completed.
Time doctor has an incredible ability to ensure you are tracking time. It's a fine balance between providing popups to keep you on track and being annoying, but they've got it right.
I'm not sure if there is anything I dislike
Everyone in my company uses the software to track time. It allows us to see how much we spend working on each project and also keeps track of personal hours worked, which is great fro team member s with flexible working.
Unlike other programs, we do not get much of notifications while using Time Doctor and also it is good that if you forget to start the session, it gives a warning.
The small bar that shows if the session is open or closed can be disabled totally so that you do not need to move it around on the screen while working.
It helps me keep track of my working hours and tracking the hours is the first step to the analyzing my performance.
What I like best about the time doctor is how they can track the time of the user.
cant be integrated into our CRM. I wish it could so that it will be much easier for me to track the time of my team!
Well, managing someone without wasting time. You will know if they're working or not. You can trace or track them.
Time Doctor is the most effective tool to track the complete activity. It helps us to track productive and unrated hours.
The amount of information that can be entered in the non-computer task description areas is limited.
Easy to assign the projects associated with time-bound and multitasking list. Effective to identify the most time spent unproductive ones and eradicating it.
Time Doctor is so easy to use. I never have to worry about figuring it out and wasting time. It is so great and easy!
There is nothing that I dislike about this product. It helps me tremendously, and I'd recommend it to anyone!
I am staying organized and time-efficient. It is great!
Easy to track multiple users or mange them with a single click of the report.
Not so cons. It saves my time by seeing project-wise records.
Overall, it is excellent software on its own. Earlier we use to track the time and work in a spreadsheet which is a manual task, but now with this tool without anyone to proctor or supervision the productivity of the team is increased.
My favorite feature is the screenshots my team is fully remote. Managing a fully remote team can be difficult, but not with Time Doctor. The screenshot feature holds employees accountable and keeps daily productivity high.
In my honest opinion I think more filters would be nice and an easier way to add and delete users. Also if the payroll feature could interact with our accounting software that would also be very helpful.
I had an issue with employees not clocking out when work was not being done. I no longer have that issue. Time doctor clocks them out automatically during times of inactivity.
Time Doctor is a user friendly app. The support and dev team always try their best to help our needs.
Few things. Tracked hours does not sync sometimes. Redirecting to page 1 on manage users settings when editing on other page
Helps us on our payroll. They did an amazing development on payroll history. Made our lives easier.
It is cost effective and works very well. You can customise it a fair bit to suit your needs.
It does not integrate with Xero or MYOB. This pay integration would be awesome!
It had made my team more productive. I can also figure out how my team works, who works best under which conditions and so on. Essentially it has helped me undesstand my team better.
